This session is run by Stacey who plays fiddle and tenor banjo. It's very friendly and suitable for beginners - ie we don't bite too hard and starts at about 9pm. The pub is run by Paul who serves The Oakleaf Brewery ales, I can recommend the Hole Hearted. The pub Post Code is PO2 7PS and so it can easily be found using Multi Map. It is an easy walk from Fratton Railway Station and shouldn't take more than about 15 minutes.
I'v only ever been to 2 sessions. one in boarhunt which was very by the book but the winchester is completely different you can meet new people and have a laugh i go regulary with my dad and sometimes my big brother. Its good for confident beginners. from sarah thomas
