4 time All-Ireland fiddler Denis McCarthy and Guitarist Jimmy Coen (son of legendary flutist Jack Coen) run a very friendly Trad sessiun at the Hibernian Steakhouse on McLean Ave in Yonkers (2 minutes from the Bronx). 7pm till late. All musician/singers/drinkers are invited to join in the fun. Never a dull sessiun...always lively (the way a sessiun should be). All participants drink free all night. (woo hoo)
As of early 2007, the Hibernian Sessiun has moved it's home to The Rambling House, on Katonah Avenue in the Bronx. Still headed by Denis McCarthy and other regular members of the session band Jameson's Revenge, still an amazing energy and open to all musicians. Excellent place for beginners and masters alike.

Sessiun Has Moved
