For anybody familiar with Philadelphia, it may be easier to note that the Inn is located at the intersection of Germantown Ave and Mermaid Lane.
The session here is held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. The session seems to start around 9:30, but I only actually went for the first time a few days ago, and knowing Irish music, I'm sure this time can vary.
For the most part, the session seems to attract more intermediate-level players, but I also understand that there are weeks when more advanced players are there. There seems to be a solid core of about 4 fiddlers and one bodhran who show up, including the fiddler who technically leads the session (she is very open to other people starting tunes and sets). The people are nice, laid back, and very welcoming, so I would think that this session would attract even the more timid of session-goers.
Again, however, I've only been to this session once, so there is perhaps somebody who can speak about this one who has perhaps attended it more often, or has been around Philadelphia longer than me. I really just wanted to post this session because it seemed to be the last main Philly session that was missing from the list.
Hi Jason--I'd really like to check this one out sometime. Glad to hear the leader is open and friendly and that there seems to be a lot of intermediate players! Now I just have to get a Wednesday night off from work!
It seems that the bar owner is experimenting more with other kinds of music, and so while this session is indeed still in tact, I can't guarantee that it is held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday. If you're in the area and want to go to this session, your best bet is calling the bar to make sure the session is still scheduled for a particular week.

Last Wednesday of the month only
I just got off a call with some folks at the Inn - looks like the session is only on the last Wednesday of the month.
