Nice to hear of an Irish Murphy's session at LAST!
I play a session at Irish Murphy's in Geelong,Victoria every Sunday, from 5p.m.-8.30p.m. and it is cracking good craic!
The only difference is we only get ONE beer each per session.
Can anyone tell me why, when our sessions start off real quiet (and I MEAN real quiet;i.e. me and one other guy for the first hour) that the session ALWAYS turns out to be a great session with a great variety of very talented musicians. It always happens and I can't for the life of me explain why and I've been doing it for three or four years now!
Sorry everyone! This session died and I was a bit tardy to let you know. Management didn't want to know. It must be said that some "players" turned up merely to collect their beer tickets, and not much more!

Sometimes session goes on longer, if mood takes players.
