This is usually a 2-part session.The first part from 7-9pm is mainly for improvers and young musicians but anyone of any age is welcomed. This takes part in the upstairs area.
The second part of this session is downstairs in the main bar and is open to all musicians to join. New musicians are welcomed.
This Pub has never been in Sixmilebridge. It is in Kilkishen and there is no upstairs and never has been. The session here is on sunday evenings early ie 7pm until it finishes. The early part 7pm until aprox 9pm is primarily intended for young improver musicians but of course anyone is welcome. 9pm onwards is a full blown session. All musicians and singers are very welcome. The session is run by the Sixmilebridge folk club having moved from McGreggors pub in SMB a couple of years ago.
