We play quite a variety of music these days; Irish, Scottish and English. Numbers vary greatly from week to week from say 6 to 16! All kinds of instruments welcome and beginners too. Tend to have the beginners' session early in the evening and end with the fast stuff.
I loved the Telegraph review of this pub "100% for accomodation and respect for older people - banjo country".
they don't do accomodation - this pub is run only for the benefit of the serious drinker of maturer years. And Ooo Arrr, it could be described as "banjo country".
cracking session - friendly crowd - beer heaven - mainly English and a smattering of Irish.
It ended up as a Northumbrian session (my fault).but they coped.
Well worth a visit.
