Polkas and slides

I am interested in the music of the Sliabh Luachra region of Kerry/Cork.

I also play fiddle as a hobby. Do you see this as a part of the session at the Castle Pub.

Nope, don't think so.

Looked in the other day when I was passing to quiz the staff. The other sessions I have heard about Manc all sound pretty hardcore, but my teacher is encouraging me to go out and find somewhere I can sit in.

The lass behind the bar was quite sweet, but clearly had no idea what I was talking about; and the regular who appeared welded to his bar stool said that the owner often had punk bands in, but no Irish music.

Methinks it has died :-(
