Actually, it rarely gets going until after 7pm, but one or two of of us will always turn up at 6pm, just in case any visiting musicians turn up.
The repertoire is very wide ranging, with tunes from various traditions (Welsh, Irish, English, Scottish, Danish, Finnish, French, Breton, American, Portuguese, Bulgarian, Klezmer...), traditional and non-traditional songs, blues, recitations...
There is a small hardcore of Irish tune players among us, always keen to draw in more of our kind.
