At an impromptu session this past weekend (8.23.04) in Molly Malone's in the Bardstown Rd., in Louisville, I found out that Kitty O'Kirwan's has closed. The Irish Cultural Center adjacent to it is still open, but the restaurant and the sessions are now gone, sadly.
Thanks to all who made Kitty's such a wonderful place!
We hope that a regular session will begin in Molly Malone's again (there used to be a great session there some years back), and we understand that the owners of Molly's are encouraging it. Because of performance and festival committments of many of the Louisville players, a Molly's session may not happen until October...
