Very friendly

The session is suitable for beginners if they are serious and quiet and cop on. We don't encourage bodhran players or guitar players. None of us is getting paid so there is a looseness and joy in the music that isn't all that common nowdays. There is no star-power at our session. Just a bunch of locals. We often get a free pint or two from the landlord, who likes the music. The pub is seldom crowded since it's a Monday, and that suits us fine.
See you there some time....

What we play

In general, there's a fiddle or two, concertina or two, button accordion or two, flute, sometimes a piper. We always have a few laughs and some stories.
