The session is currently scheduled for the 2nd Sunday of each month, beginning February 9,2003. Therefore, I can't share experience ... yet. However, my intent was to offer a session for those who are perhaps too young to attend the pub session as well as for those who can't travel to our city on a weeknight for the other session in town. Therefore, yes, I hope beginners would want to come and that they would feel welcome. Some experienced musicians that enjoy teaching are committed to attending and I'm certainly hoping to learn a lot. I'll update with more information as the personality of the session evolves.
Lew has announced that this session is suspended as of early 2004 due to low attendance. We still have the Golden Ace in Indianapolis and several music societies. Hope to see you at one of those.

So far, So good
I missed the first one in Feb 2003, but have gone in March and April and it has gone well. Small group, but enough to keep everything going.
