New venue for previous Fleetwood session established 2003
Starts promptly between 8 and 8.30pm. Not suitable for beginners but small and friendly we hope. We tend to the "mature" age group. Mixed tune and song session but usually more tunes. We play more jigs, hornpipes, airs etc rather than reel after reel. Not strictly but mostly Irish.
Moved from the North Euston Fleetwood to The Old Town Hall Poulton le Fylde from 15/11/09.
Comhaltas Preston have provided a lnk to this site so we may get more players from there.
Also so far we have tended not to meet on Bank Holiday weekends. Session does not meet on first weekend in Sept as Folk Festival on.
Due to problems with interference from the juke box and vice versa, session moved as above from June 2010. Details otherwise same.

We are a group of friends from Spain (from Córdoba, where we have a session), and we are spending some days in Fleetwood, in a house next to the Mount Hotel!!
We would love to go to your session tomorrow, but we won't be able to be there until about 10 pm. What time do you usually stay to?

We could finally go to the session and we had a wonderful time! As it is written in the description, we played airs, hornpipes, slides, polkas, jigs, slipjigs... and one or two reels; it was as nice as the musicians! Thank you!
