This session is for those who are yet to brave the average Limerick session but definitely have their sights set upon it. It is a little slower, totally non-professional and away in an upstairs room so we can play away without fear of requests for streets of London or upsetting whoever is being secretly paid. You can sit and listen and / or swap tunes. The session is lead by one or two regulars just to keep it together, but other than that its very much 'just for fun'. Dancers and singers are also welcome!
This session is organised by Limerick Fiddle Workshop and kind of tagged onto the end of two workshops we have on in the same space on Sundays so basically it is PROVISIONAL - ie nothing is permanent yet. So please txt or phone 086 173 5044 if you plan to visit, especially after 7th June 2009, to make sure it is still running. You could always just walk down to Dolans but anyway...
if enough people come and all that Jazz it should be a hoot, but in the long term it depends on the workshop uptake to make it viable.
