George & Dragon, West Haddlesey, off A19 between Doncaster & Selby

Alternate Wednesdays (jazz on the other wednesdays). We normally visit another local pub session (real ale compulsary) on the jazz Wednesday just to promote sessions a bit more. Details from me at brackenriggband@hotmail.com.
Real Ale from 8.15pm untill kicked out. Food at half time.
Mixed abilities from learners up to professionals - 20 plus players - accordions (piano & chromatic), melodions, fiddles, concertinas (anglo & english), whistles - repertoire half English (slowish for learners to intermediate), half trad Scottish/Irish (faster tempo for non-learners).
Northumbrian tunes have a big following here (at least 4 of us).

Sorry its now defunct

Sorry, the WWWIIIIIDDDDEEEE SSSSCCCCRRREEEENNNN took over and the session no longer meets at the G&D.
If you want to watch big kids kick a ball between two sticks and drink kiddies alco-pop out of the bottle, you will be most welcome.

The session still meets alternate Wednesdays at the pub with the worlds longest name - JEMMY HIRST AT THE ROSE AND CROWN in nearby Rawcliffe (off M62 near Howden). This is still an excellent session, a really top-class old-fashioned pub and beer-heaven.
