Sloop session

A genuine no-rules session of tunes and songs, that includes improving players in a supportive environment. This session can be so good, even Yorkshire people abandon their own session and invest £5 in crossing the former longest-suspension-bridge-in-the-world Humber Bridge to participate. Numbers vary from three to twenty, but usually average eight or nine, and sometimes boasts Oakley, fiddler to legendary Hull band Punch the Horse, and the mythical Cara.

SESSION HAS MOVED

Due to PEL problems and landlord change, the Sloop session has moved to the Six Bells in Barrow Upon Humber. The session still has the same inclusive ethic, and is a successful tune and accompanied song session. It is still held every Tuesday night, from 8.30 'til late.

Barton/Barrow

Hi Skip, shouldn't the location read Barrow iso Barton?

I certainly had fun here last Sunday! Lovely landlady, good music, friendly atmosphere.
