Well a couple of folk at the OM last night asked if we were listed on thesession.org & I realised we weren't.
The session has been going for almost exactly a year but only moved to the Oran Mhor about three months ago having started life in the Lismore.
Starts "after 9" on wednesdays with regulars usually arriving around 9:30-10. The Oran Mhor is a very large pub with a num,ber of rooms. We are based in the main bar, usually to the left of the main door (assuming the very friendly bar staff have remembered to reserve a table for us).
The pub has a 2am licence, but in practice the session tends to break up sometime around 12:30-1:30.

Dropped in on the way south. Very friendly and welcoming session. Nice pace of the tunes. Good group and mix of instruments round a table with space to play. Will definitely come back on future visits. Best wishes.
As per the thread about session updates and the lack thereof, I just want to say we are still going and welcome anyone passing through. Same time, same place, hopefully not toooo many of the same tunes. :P

Oran Mor session xmas break 2009
Last night was the last sesh before the hols.
Plan to start back early in the new year, prob wed Jan 6th.
