I was there in March 2010. Siobhan runs a great pub with a lot of fun people. The session was in fun as will. A small group. But that worked out okay because the pub is small. This place is a must stop, even if you are not going to play. Just stop by and hi.
I played at this session in May 2011. Starts promptly at 6 and ends as promptly at 8. About ten players were packed into a corner. All were wonderful musicians and were welcoming to an out-of-towner. They were grateful to hear some tunes that they hadn't heard in years whenever I started sets. Great experience for my first session in Oz. Definitely stop in at this session if you can, or stop and chat with Siobhan, who is as awesome as the above comments claim.
I'm told by Siobhan the lass behind the bar sessions resume Friday 16th Jan '09 @ 7pm

Looked in this Friday 13th Feb 2009 about 8:30pm but no sign of a session, just loud recorded music and loads of backpackers from Bev & Micks
