We are starting a monthly fiddle jam session in Utica with an emphasis on traditional fiddle music. Since 80% or so of "traditional fiddle music" is Celtic, this will be a hybrid Session/ Round Robin Jam.
Saturday, July 12 (every 2nd Saturday thereafter)
WHO: Everyone! All ages... all levels of musicianship. If you play the fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, penny whistle, etc. and enjoy traditional fiddle music, this jam session is for YOU!
WHAT: Traditional fiddle tunes (Celtic, Old-Time, French Canadian, American) - jigs, reels, marches, waltzes, hornpipes, polkas.
WHEN: July 12th and Every 2nd Saturday thereafter from 4:00 - 6:00 pm
WHERE: Domenico’s Café, 2011 Genesee St. Utica, New York
Directions: Exit Thruway at Utica exit 31. Keep Left at the fork in the ramp. Turn Right onto North Genesee St and take Genesee Street for 3 miles. Café is on the left next to Uptown Plaza with the Uptown movie theater directly across the street.
