Hi folks
Just to let you know about a new session in North-West London. Led by the indomitable Gervais Currie on guitar and on-song, great music and excellent craic.
Starts 4 pm and runs ostensibly 'til 6 (we were playing until 7 on Sunday).
Most recent musicians were Ben Gunnery (fiddle), Sheena Vallely (flute), Ciaran Bradley (bodhran and misty-eyed songs of unrequited lust), Marion Gray, Seamy Linnane and Louis (more fiddles) and myself (box).
Relaxed atmosphere, the crowd were great and very appreciative. Reminded me of "the good old days"
All musicians very welcome. See you there this Sunday 20th April
Sorry Seamy - I knew you were Nora's bro; don't know why I was thinking Linnane - should of course be Mulready!
And Lewis, apologies to you too for the typo!
By the way folks, there's also a free drink or two if you turn up nice and early!
