If your a regular to Cahirciveen then you might know the crowd who used to play in An Bonnan Bui? Well they now play in The Fertha on Thursdays and during the summer I'll be playing in there possibly on Friday nights as well. Its good craic, usually starts at around half 9 or 10. I teach music in the area and sometimes I bring a few of my teenage students who are quite promising and the lads love seeing them come in.
Marian, (or anybody else for that matter) do you know if there are any other sessions anywhere between Killorglin and Valentia, preferably over the weekends?
Hi 'Ah, Surely!'. I play in the Royal in Valentia on Wednesday nights but I also play in the Fertha on Friday nights and in Craineens on Sunday nights (both of which are in cahirciveen). As far as I know, there aren't any sessions on Saturday nights.
