The Baltimore Singers Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month in the upstairs of Bertha’s in historic Fells Point, Baltimore from 9 to 11pm. The occasion is very informal, but the beer is good and the craic is mighty. Meetings have so far been well-attended and all songs have been rendered in great voice, as they should be. The repertoire is traditional and old, but newly composed songs in the same vein are welcome. At evening’s end, we with haste retire to the Cafe Hon in Hampden for the weekly session. All singers, accompanied or unaccompanied, are welcome as is anyone who wishes to listen. The Baltimore Singers Club first convened in September 2007. Consult www.berthas.com for directions.
Regarding the description above, I just wanted to note that the weekly session at Cafe Hon in Hampden is no longer running. The singers session at Berthas that is obviously the main focus of this page is still going though.
