Starts around 9pm as far as i know. I first went to this session when I went to the fringe in 2006 and had a great night with a good standard of very welcoming musicians. I walked passed the other night and it appeared to still be going strong with a good mix of instruments. I remember there being a bit more space and better acoustics than other sessions around edinburgh. Theres jazz on a tue or a wed as well (if you fancy a walk on the wild side).

I've remembered the first time I went was for an audition , not the festival so it's definatly going all year round and it's on weekly.
