Sunday afternoons from 2-5 pm
This session was started a few weeks ago by Charlie MacVicar, a member of the Baltimore based band "Dogs Among the Bushes".
The Read Street Book and Coffee shop is a charming little shop, with a small piano and room for about 10 musicians - small but lively!

Today we played mostly traditional Irish tunes, with 3 or 4 songs thrown in... The tempo was fast and everyone was encouraged to start tunes. Everyone was real welcoming and friendly. Great fun!
From what I've gathered this session quickly ran its course. I don't think the store owner and musicians had the same understanding regarding the nature of the music. I'm not 100% sure that it has been cancelled so you can call the place just in case you were thinking of going.

Cancelled?
