The session begins at 7:00 p.m. every Sunday, but don't expect it to begin exactly on time. Just order a pint and hang on until reinforcements arrive. The session is open to all levels (play it if you know it), but the more advanced players tend to dominate as the hour grows late. Tunes are mostly Irish, but variety in the Celtic tradition - Cape Breton, Scottish, etc. - fits in quite well. The occasional song is also appreciated.
