NEW Session in NYC

Don Meade and friends launch a new weekly session / FREE Admission / All musicians welcome / An historic Hell's Kitchen bar & restaurant
Don is well known and respected in Irish trad music circles as a musician on banjo, fiddle and harmonica, as well as being the "Tune Title Guru."
Don also produces the monthly Blarney Star Concert series in Manhattan.

The following distinguished musicians will lead the Landmark's Monday night sessions:

March 26: Uilleann piper Kieran O'Hare, currently performing on Broadway with "The Pirate Queen."

April 2: LInda Hickman, flute and tin whistle player well known for recordings and concerts with Celtic Thunder.

April 9: John Nolan, button accordionist extraordinaire, first American-born winner of the senior All-Ireland championship.

Landmark Tavern session

Went to this session two weeks ago. Great session, great tunes. If you are in New York, don't miss it. This and the Dempsey's session on Tuesday are a must.

I checked it out on Monday and John Sindt was there playing! Very nice session. Fast tempo. Lots of songs mixed in.
