Directions

Rottindean is a small village situated just a couple of miles east of Brighton. The number 2a buses go there from Churchill square.

Once in Rottingdean (home of the Copper family) go inland form the Seafront for a couple of hundred yards and you're there!

New year update

Yep we're still here...and still noodling our way through tunes on a sunday afternoon.

We seem to migrate between the front and back of the pub.... the back has better acoustics, the front is smoke free..... well i guess it all will be soon!

It's still mainly Irish but we welcome all.
byeeeeeeeeee

Various 'new' students have been in touch recently from the universities... but none have yet made it....come on it's not that far (see buses above) or maybe I should run a minibus from Brighton!!!!

Also served by the 12,12a and 13 buses, this is a gastro pub in the extreme. posh nosh and waiters carrying black pepper around does seem a little strange for an old fashioned looking pub next to a duck pond. good guinness but pricey at £2.95 a pint. Musically there's a good mix of musicians who were all very friendly and welcoming. none of the musicians were actually from rottingdean and a few had come all the way from bognor! it must be easier to get a session going in brighton no? food for musicians at half time. I enjoyed myself and will pop back again :)
