New! - Crowley's of Cork is hosting Irish sessions
The first ever Irish session at Crowley's took place on October 14, 2006, with a handful of enthusiastic musicians: Lori, Sharon, Jane, Fergal (fiddles all) and Larry on guitar. The food was fabulous, the beer truly fine, and the acoustics surprisingly excellent.
Sessions take place every Saturday beginning around 5 PM until we're done or Colleen decides to kick us out, whichever comes first. Beginners are welcome.
Crowley's is a smoke-free establishment, and kids are welcome until 8PM, so add this session to your calendar and come on down. Take Max to Hillsboro Hawthorne Farm station, and you're there!
Visit www.crowleysofcork.com for more info.
Hope to see you there soon -

FYI - I've moved out of the area, and I heard from friends that Crowley's was closed on Saturdays. I believe the change was temporary, but please go to the crowley's website for info. If you don't find the answer there, you can email admin@crowleysofcork.

The Session has Changed to Tuesdays 6-9pm or there abouts. Please up date the session if possible...tried to add a new listing for it, but it wouldn't let me. Thanks
The Crowley's of Cork Pub closed sometime last spring. It was not really an Irish style pub and never took off. Unfortunately that leaves us no place to play on the west side of Portland.

Alas no more!
We were in Hillsboro on a Tuesday (Sept 16, 08) GPSd our way to Crowleys of Cork - but to no avail - No Crowleys, No Session - no way, no how.
The bartender - not the maid behind the bar - (of ther new pub) scanned us with suspicious eye and infomed us they'd been gone for at least 8 months.
Mark this one off the list.
