This session is the descendant of those at the Ram Ciderhouse, going back some thirty years. Has English, Morris, blues, bits of rock and roll, Americana, skiffle on occasion, etc and indeed an Irish element. Depends who is there on the night.
Pub has been taken in hand by owner - was previously managed -so refurbishment understood start Tuesday 14th to accomodate Monday's session. Now has a more interesting range of beer, albeit a strong GK base.
Well I submitted the session, but I didn't give it any particular classification. In fact, I didn't know you could and I can't see where it's classified as irish. Of course, I'm trying to introduce a few more irish tunes myself as that's largely what I happen to know, but I'm learning lots of english tunes just by turning up. And they have loads of different ciders. None of which need to be enjoyed 'over ice'.

Classification?

Monday's going strong
The smoking ban seems to have brought back a number of people, and last nights Monday session was a corker.
