A few more details, Eveish? Knowing the starting time, repertoire, playing standards, whether beginners are welcome or thrown on the barbeque, etc would help.
Not that I'm in Canberra often but you never know!
We are trying to get it up and running again, beginners are most welcome, it is a really open and friendly session started by the guys from Full Circus band. Generally starts around 8pm.. will let you know when the next one is.
The session has moved to the ANU (the Australian National University) Anyone is welcome, people there often even have spare dots to the tunes if you are not familiar with them
It hapens over lunch time on fridays from about 12:30 - 2pm in the Union court area, usually outside in the sun, if the weather is nice.
I looked on the sessions page and there's apparently a session at ANU on a friday night. Is this still running? If so when and where is the session held? I'm heading to canberra next weekend and would love some tunes.
