it was posted in the discussions section by "sneetch" bb, and then pulled, presumably for being about a new session but not in the "sessions" section. I hope it wasn't because I added a moaning comment about it clashing with The Quiet Man.
anyway, from what I can recall, it was being set up by members of the Beenies and Trouble in the Kitchen, starting about 5.30pm of a Sunday
I know where Jeremy's coming from with this but it would be nice if a note in "discussions" about a new session in a different time zone could be left up long enough so that people in that timezone could see it.
This session has been cancelled. The woman who runs the pub is completely insane and has no idea about Irish music whatsoever. However, there have been rumours of new Sunday arvo sessions starting somewhere else...
Well that's a bugger. However, why don't they - the new session that is - either start on a different day or earlier on Sunday, say lunchtime, so it doesn't clash with the Quiet Man? Or is that the idea?
A Saturday arvo session in Melbourne would be good, especially in winter
Comments please
Who runs the session? what type of tunes are played? etc etc

Yes, it'll be a great session I'd say, and they will play crazy tunes as well as classic tunes a nice mix of both....which I love
