This is a brand new Sessiun. It will be held on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 1pm to 4pm starting Febrary 19th. The food is excellent and the musicians are well treated, even get a stage. It is open to EVERYONE young, old, experienced or brand new players. I am currently hosting the sessiun on my own, but I will need people to host on May 21st, June 18th and July 16th as I have other obligations playing feises. Anyone looking for information regarding the location of the sessiun or wanting to host one of the open dates, please contact me at brigidfeld@hotmail.com. It is located about 20 monuites from Bushkill, 50 minutes from Stoudsburg, 20 minutes from Sussex Co, NJ and Port Jervis NY. The April event has been canceled since it falls on Easter Sunday. It may pick up on the 30th or just skip right onto the regularly scheduled May date on the 21st.
We have changed the jam to Wednesdays starting at around 7 or 8. Most people got there for 8pm. the next one will be held on March 7th. From that point it LOOKS LIKE it will be biweekly. More details to follow. Last night went great. It was nice to get it going again.
