I'm not sure what happened to this session. From what I know the place was sold about a year ago....the sessions didn't seem as good after that. Then they were changed to Wednesdays. I went a couple weeks ago and there was nobody there for the session at all...and that had this really bad "celtic" rock band play around 9pm. Supposedly they sessions are still happening, but I'd call first. This place has seriously gone down hill. Sad, it was a great place a couple years ago....
This session seems to be no longer. The pub changed owners a year or so ago and the session got moved around, booted out for rock bands, etc, and attendance seemed to dwindle. Not to mention the food (which was never too good to begin with) is just awful!
King's Head session
From what I've seen this seems to be mostly a Scottish session, but many of the players are quite good. Well worth checking out!

This session is held weekly, every Thursday evening. It starts around 6 or 7pm, I believe.

After showing up on a thursday, expecting to hear a good session, I was told by a waitress that it has now moved t Wednesday......

Session is no longer !!!

THE KING'S HEAD CLOSED FOR GOOD
The King's Head now no longer exists. It's been turned into a hip place called The Spot. :P
