Outside of the village of Aghalee, where my grandfather (fiddler and fiddle-maker) was born, is a lovely pub in middle of the countryside, and on Tuesday nights, has the best music anywhere----with a core group of 4 or 5 musicians (Chris on bodhran, Steve on tenor banjo, John on fiddle, Kerstin on button accordion, and a great flute player) Sometimes there are 20 or more musicians, all superb players, and good craic....it was musical nirvana for me...Ivan is the charming owner, and his wife is a fiddler as well......

What about big Brendy on the flute as well?
Had a recent session with some of the Clenaghan's regulars in Ardglass and I can vouch for the excellence of the music.
