This is a nice bar for a couple of tunes, the standard isnt high - anyone is welcome. On sundays at 5pm-7pm (or whenever people decide to leave) The session is held out on the deck. There are also set dancers so its lots of fun. The session also runs on wed nights after set dancing classes and that one is from 9-30pm till midnight.
Update: Sunday session at the Harp rolls on... from 5-ish to whwnever everyone goes home... no longer in the deck; now 'somewhere' in the pub. Just find the music...
Visited here on Sep 14. Bar was very quite - change of ownership I'm told - but staff still music -friendly and session is still going, although most had left by 10.30pm

No longer happening on a Wednesday night. Last one tonight 10/12/03 :( Still on a Sunday though.

Just got back from this session and ti was still going when I left. I arrived around 6:30 and the session was already in full swing. Great craic!

also, easily accessible from Tempe station (about 15 min from Syd central) and trains back into Sydney go every 30 min until about 1am
