I wandered past this place last time I was in New York and decided to grab my whistles in hopes there would be a session in session. Unfortunately there wasn't, but the bartenders and punters were more than willing to sit around and listen to the few tunes in my repertoire and feed me alcohol for the remainder of the night.
I talked to Jerry the bartender, a crusty old Dubliner, and he talked about how much he wanted to get a session going in his place. A quick recon of the site showed that they had a very nice bar and an even nicer back room/dining area with moveable tables and nice acoustics. This is where Jerry said he was hoping to get some people playing a session. (It should be noted that there also is no dining going on, so there would be no worry about forks and knives clinking ruining a good set)
I'm convinced that it would draw a good crowd, because even the sound of me drooling drunkenly into my whistle drew some passersby in from the streets to listen.
I realize this isn't exactly a session, but it's got potential, and I wasn't sure where else to post it.
Not a session YET

By all means, give them a call.
