This is the session that took place for three years at Caffe Capri, and then went temporarily to Molly Malone's. We have settled in this fine old building in historic downtown Eustis. The space is large, good accoustics, food and Guinness available. Many regulars at the Claddagh Cottage session in Orlando also attend this session. Taking place on the Second Sunday of each month, 4:30 - 7:30 PM, friendly, lively, with a singing session at 6:00 PM (approx. 30 minutes of singing). Open to all comers.
We had a lovely session yesterday. We were most of the regulars, plus a surprise visit from Mike Dugger and Julian Lambertson. Mike's singing was lovely, and our new location for playing seemed to be the "sweet spot" in the pub. Also, Rachel's voice was beautiful, and Valerie did fantastic accompanying everybody on keyboard.
Note: we will take a break for July, and resume our Second Sunday Session in August.

After a short hiatus in the ethereal realms this session has been reincarnated at Olivia's Coffee House. We are meeting 3-6 PM on the Second Sunday of each month. There are a few singers participating so we alternate between songs and tunes. This is a good session for newbies and more advanced players. We regularly are joined by players from Gainesville and Orlando.
We came to an impasse with Olivia when she insisted that we have a "jam", in other words, all musicians could play whether or not they knew a thing about Irish music. That wasn't acceptable to us, so now we will host a Second Sunday Session (and possibly other sessions) at our home in Eustis.

Great session yesterday!
