Wednesdays are usually the day for sessions in the Haket Pub.
It is a traditional Irish session with jigs, reels, etc. and occasionally a few songs in between. No country or bluegrass. We tune in from 19.30 and we'll kick of as soon as we're ready and play until 23, but quite often longer.
The Haket sessions are open and the musicians range from novices to seasoned and experienced session players. We have a mailing list for interested musicians and when you attend the session you may ask to be put on the list for information about upcoming events. Sessions tend to be between 8 to 15 attending musicians, sometimes more, and there are always room for a few extra.
If you're interested, come on over and join in. Friends and family are of course more than welcome to the pub for good food, drinks and session music. Do send an email if you have any further questions.
