MacLeod's Pub, Union and Market, downtown Knoxville at Market Square
Monthly sessions are every third Wednesday at 7 p.m. at MacLeod's Pub on Union and Market at Market Square in downtown Knoxville.
Weekly Sessions are every Thursday at 7 p.m. at Patrick Sullivan's Saloon at Jackson and Central in Knoxville's Old City.
Monthly house sessions and branch meetings are the third Sunday of every month--slow session at 2, potluck dinner at 4 followed by session until they wear out.
MacLeod's Irish Pub, Knoxville, TN--January's monthly session will be a house session instead.
I received this heads-up today:

Betsy Hooper of the Knoxville Scottish Music Club is a regular at the trad. irish sessions!
McLeods is/was a trial session. They had asked for a session there and we play there once a month. It's ok , but don't know how long we will continue.
Please do get in touch if you get this way.
Slán,
Rick

So the MacLeod's monthly sessions are "iffy". Call before you go to be sure it's still on. Consider the monthly house sessions in addition to MacLeod's, or in place of MacLeod's if they cancel out.
By the by, Betsy is a well-known trad. irish fiddler in the area (she began in ITM), and I believe she is one of those responsible for the existence of both the irish and the scottish music scene in Knoxville.
McLeod's session is no longer. Trial didn't work out. Wrong crowd? Wrong night? Wrong music?
But the Thursday session at Patrick Sullivan's in Knoxville is still going strong!
