Fourth Sunday of each month, from 7.30ish to 10.30ish.
A lively acoustic jam session (for reasonably experienced traditional folk musicians), with a wide-ranging repertoire, usually including plenty of French dance tunes alongside the more usual English, Irish, Scottish, Northumbrian etc… and a few songs as well.
Although fairly small (space can be tight at the musicians' end of the room), the pub is very welcoming. The landlady and her partner are music enthusiastis and can sometimes fit in an impromptu session at short notice, so if you are looking for somewhere to play, give them a ring!
