I was in The Castle for the first time last Sunday (new years eve, which turned into day as we played into the morning). The session wasn't big but it is usually led by Micheal O'Brien (accordion) and Paddy Sweeney (banjo). Micheal was there on Sunday and was very welcoming. I'm not sure if it is so open usually but Michael was a sound man last time out and I'm sure it would be fine but always best to ask first.
I drove for miles to fnd this place Michael the accordion man was very welcoming, but after a while it became obvious that this was a totally unsuitable venue for Trad. music. The rising background noise eventually drowned us out. Nice musicians, but the building and clientele are for night-clubbers.

Just a minor point, but the village's name is Manorhamilton.
