Ok, it has to be said I found this session whilst rather drunk and have only been once. However, as far as I can tell it's one of, if not the only remaining session in the area. It has much more of a sing-a-long/play-a-long kind of feel rather than your usual session. Pretty good players but nobody seemed to know even the most commonly known tunes - I mean come on, who doesn't know morrison's jig? Also there was one fellow sat in the middle whom I can't say I liked much, intent on belting out his own songs with the music sat infront of him and just expecting everyone else to join in. Not a good session by any mean but if your out that way, I certainly couldn't find anything else still running.
I would uphold the above comments - however at present there is a much better session running @ the riflemans arms on a Thursday night - the beer is much better too - all you get in Dicky's is a dose of the eurofizz . . . . .
