Well, the biddies weren´t crying and the glasses weren´t flying but the craic was certainly good in Cricklewood on friday night at the session in the refurbished premises of the famous Crown pub in Cricklewood broadway.
The two Micks and Barbara run a friendly little session in a no-smoking bar and I would recommend it to anybody looking for music in north london on a Friday night.
I wasn´t able to get to the Sunday afternoon session but I´m sure it´s just as enjoyable.
The Friday session is now starting about 8pm and going on to about 10:30pm.
The Sunday session is now downstairs in the (middle) Lounge bar and starts more like 4pm until 6:30pm
Mick O'Connor (Tenor banjo), Mick Bailey (Guitar/vocals) & Barbara Hackett (Accordion) are not always there as we sometimes get other gigs but we always put in deps to keep the sessions at the Crown going.
Thanks for the comments above!

The front bar and hotel desk may deny it, but there is a great little session in the Crown Lounge on a Friday night!! Many thanks to the three Micks, Barbara, and PJ for welcoming a weary traveller and providing some mighty music!
