Time is officially 2-6pm, though this varies a bit from week to week. We play mainly Celtic but have been known to stray from time to time. Regulars include Ken the Whistleguy and Calvin on fiddle. If we're really lucky Calgary's mandolin goddess will come down to join us. Our gracious hostess, Dawn, will sometimes favour us with a song when she's not too busy serving customers. Session is open to anyone who can play or sing Celtic music.
Hasn't been a celtic session there for years now. The pub is now called Mikey's Juke joint and they have a pretty good open mic on Sunday afternoons, as well as other stuff.

Dawn is no longer managing at Jackdaw's, since she has moved over to the Bar Named Sue.
