this session is NOT a weekly one but is every second sunday,the next one will be on august 25 then again on september 8 & 22 and so on.
start times can vary but we try to get there for 8.30pm-ish and are usually playing by 9 at the latest.
this is not a late session so don't plan on staying behind for a few jars - Tony has to get home!
it's a friendly pub and as with any session it just depends on who turns up as to what sort of night it's going to be - numbers have ranged from 3 to maybe a dozen or more.
we seem to be quite weighted to fiddles on the tune instrument side so you'll be especially welcome if you're a flute/whistle/piper etc - not that fiddles are n't welcome either!
re bodhrans and other hitty things: it's preferred if you can bring a tuney instrument as well but if you're one of those players who would n't join in with a bevy of goatskin enthusiasts giving it all they've got and are generally sympathetic to what's going on around you,give us a try!
getting there:
the 177,180.188,286 and 386 bus routes
rail: Maze Hill station
DLR (docklands light railway): cutty sark station
North Greenwich tube station (Jubilee line) although you might want to take the 188 to the Trafalgar Rd. otherwise it's a bit of a walk unless you know the shortcuts.

i will leave the comments to other people! just to say that it's not a 'hot shot' type of session by any means but see what you think.

this may not be my place to say but i would like to delete this session post-if it were to start again (unlikely but possible i suppose) i'm more than happy to post the details.
