The Hatfield

One of a number of 'organised' sessions in Belfast. A core of musicians are paid to be there every week so you can be absolutely certain of tunes. Kicks off around 9pm on Sunday evenings and the music is great.

Two of the regulars are Andy Dickson [a great fiddle player] and Brendan O'Hare flute player and maker and a mean bouzouki player.

The Hatfield

Yes, Andy IS a great fiddle player, and an interesting guy...I was there with my dad in June and had the pleasure of meeting Andy, Adrian Scahill (great box player) and Brendan....I recommend their session highly.

The Hatfield is no more

Sorry guys but this session has been cancelled for the forseeable future due to changes behind the bar. There may be a replacement venue and will email any details when it gets sorted- Adrian Scahill

Hatfield no more

Apparently it has been replaced with a Folk Group with Cruncher O'Neill. Cruncher is good craic and a fine singer but no real substitute for a sesion!
