This is a group of Dingle locals who recorded together in 1997. Many of the group had and have other gigs and some are quite well known now. The members include Cillian O'Briain (pipes and a renowned pipe maker), Padraig O'Se (vocals and button accordion), Muireann Nic Amhiaobh (whistle, flute, vocals and recently Danu), Feargal Mac Amhiaobh (fiddle and Muireann's dad), John Sanders (guitar and keyboard), and Andrea Power (bodhran, also a bodhran maker).
The recording was done in two parts, one a live session at the Dingle Skellig Hotel (which you pass on the way into Dingle Town) and the other part in the studio.
An interesting album with good documentation.
