Recorded in 1967 on the Leader label, as part of their "Masters Of Irish Music" series [the others were Seamus Ennis and Martin Byrnes] this is a classic album of Sligo style flute & whistle playing. I don't believe it has ever been released on CD, but it should. I have changed one or two titles of tunes - eg, "Morrison's Jig" is listed as "The Kid On The Mountain" on the sleeve notes, although it does say that [quote]"Leitrim Fancy" and "Kid On The Mountain" are not the tunes usually associated with these titles "[unquote].
