Pipemaker, Ray Sloan, is also a great piper

This is a collection of tunes on Northumbrian smallpipes, Lowland pipes, and Uilleann pipes. The piper is also the maker of the pipes he plays. Ray's pipes are on demand from pipers throughout the world. You can find out more about Ray, this CD, and his pipes by looking up his web site: www.ray-sloan.com
One of the interesting features of this recording is the Northumbrian great pipe, which Ray made by combining a NSP chanter in D with Lowland pipe drones.
The uilleann pipes used are a narrow bore D and a C#. Lovely stuff.
