A great album. Gets a ringing endorsement from Matt Molloy, out of sessions in whose pub the band formed. At the time of recording the band were Brian Lennon (flute, low whistles, vocals), Tom Doherty (accordion, melodeon, snare drum), John McHugh (fiddle), Kevin Doherty (double bass) and Declan Askin (guitar, vocals, harmonica). The band mixes traditional music and contemporary song - the mariage being more happy than most such. And they cover a version of "Like A Wild Thing", by Westport's finest singer songwriter Tony Reidy, that's damn near as good as Reidy's own version!
