this accordion&fiddle recording sounds to me more scotland than ireland ... and a very nice cajun set (of a waltz and a fiery two step) in between. but tmo it is not too far away from TheSession - to my surprise even the database confirmed that: two jigs have been highlighted immediately as part of the tunes section.

Not Irish

That's probably because neither Aly Bain or Phil Cunningham is Irish. Phil Cunningham is from Scotland and Aly Bain is from Shetland, although is playing is very Scottish.
